Advocacy

Advocacy services at $150 a hour are designed to support families in understanding and navigating the special education process while ensuring that students receive appropriate educational services.

Services may include time spent reviewing educational records and IEP documents; participation in phone calls and email communication with parents, schools, and outside providers; school observations; consultation and collaboration with outside supports; and preparation of necessary written summaries or recommendations. Follow-up with school teams after meetings or observations is also included as part of advocacy support.

Time is billed for all professional services provided. Travel time to and from a school observation is billed at half of the standard hourly rate.
